  2. Prepare 1 table spoonful ground masala

  5. Then add your washed rice. Stir to keep it from sticking at the bottom n that it mixes well with the beef.add your garlic at this stage (to avoid the metalic or bitter taste that comes from too much cooking of the garlic) n cook for about 2 min
  6. Add your beef broth n salt to taste then bring to boil n
  7. When the water is almost dry stir once then cover sufuria with a cling foil n the lid this is to make your rice cook with the steam.
  8. Once ready let it rest for about 10min then serve.

If any pilau is left over, store in the fridge for up to two days. Shape into small patties, and pan fry with a little oil and serve with ketchup or a relish of your choice. I use beef instead of chicken in my pilau but it can also be made plain with no meat at all. Add the Beef and then the pilau mix. Let the spices burn a bit and add salt.
