- Dal and rice ko mix kar wash kar soak kar le half hour ke liye
- Cooker main 6 cups water dal kar gas par rakhe jab water boil ho jaye to dal rice dale add karein salt,green chilli,haldi,black pepper and red chilli(optional) add kar lid laga kar 2 whistle lagwa kar gas off kar.
- Cooker ki steam finish ho jaye to lid nikal kar agar water ki need ho to boil water add karein.
- Pan main desighee hot kar jeera and hing add karein onion add kar bhune Tarka khichri main dale.
- Uper se green dhaniya sprinkle kar enjoy karein.
This healthy khichdi has minimum Indian spices making it easy on stomach. When I was kid I did not used to like this khichdi. I thought its suppose to be eaten only when one is sick :D.
