  4. Make ready 1/4 cup soy sauce
  5. Take 1 tsp vegetable or olive oil
  6. Prepare 1 tsp lemon juice

Add the broccoli, red pepper and green onions and put the lid back on for five minutes. Most of your veggies you will just want to cut into small pieces and let steam in the hot dish after it has finished cooking.   3. Heat to boiling on medium to high heat, as soon as boiling, let simmer for about 8-10 minutes. Toss chicken once more ensuring chicken gets well coated.
  4. If sauce is too thin, add a teaspoon of cornstarch. Toss one last timr and check to see if chicken is cooked thoroughly.
  5. Meanwhile, fill steam pot and add broccoli. This should take about 5 minutes depending on how much broccoli you use :) i usually leave the green stems on and toss the middle part.
  6. Make sure chicken is completely cooked, tossing a second time. Add half a cup of water if sauce is too salty. :)
