The ingredients needed to make Khoya Halwa:

  2. Prepare 1/4 cup ghee (see recipe)
  3. Take 1/2 cup sugar
  4. Prepare 1 cup water

  6. Make ready 1/4 cup khoya
  7. Take Pinch yellow food colour
  8. Prepare 2 tbsp milk
  9. Take Slivers of almonds
  10. Get Slivers of pistachios
Instructions to make Khoya Halwa:
  1. Heat ghee in a pan. Add cardamom and fry for a minute. Add suji and roasted at low flame till it changes colour.
  2. Add one glass of water in suji and mix well. Add sugar and mix well on low heat.
  3. Mix food colour in 2 tbsp milk and add into suji mixture. Mix it well until colour distributes evenly.
  4. Add khoya into halwa and mix gently. As halwa begins to thicken and becomes glossy add slivers of almonds and pistachios and turn off the heat.
  5. Serve hot. Enjoy!
