- Heat a non stick pan and dry roast sooji for 5 minutes. Remove and add mawa. Fry for 5 minutes. Till oil separates.
- Add sooji to the mawa mixture
- Dry roast almonds, cashews and pistachios.
- Powder the dry fruits and add to the mawa sooji mixture. Reserve some pistas for decoration.
- Grind together dates, figs and raisins. Add to the mawa dry fruit mixture. Add cardamom powder. Mix well and remove from gas.
- Make small thin chapattis from the dough. Grease a chandrakala mould. Place some filling on one side and cover and press it.
- Preheat oven at 175 degrees.Arrange chandrakala/ gujiya on a baking tray.
- Bake them for 15 minutes.
- Remove and sprinkle 1 tsp honey and pistachios on them and serve.
