I started making moong dal parathas since my son started his pre school. - Rinse and wash the dal 3-4times and add sufficient water and soak it for overnight.
- Next morning, strain the water and add the dal in the mixie jar along wdh ginger, green chillies, coriander leaves and make a smooth batter by adding water too…
- As no fermentation required for this preparation,mix the batter well,add salt to taste.
- Heat a iron griddle/non stick pan grease well,add a ladleful of batter and spread evenly all over.drizzle some oil around the edges and cover with a lid…let it cook for 1minute and flip on to the other side,no need of covering it.
- Moong dal dhirde/dose are ready to serve…
- Accompanied by coconut chutney or any dip of ur choice.
- Note:- If u wanna the dhirdes more crispier may add in 2tbsp of rice flour along wdh the dal while grinding….
