Steps to make Shami koftay:
  1. Soak dal at least half hr
  2. Wash mince and drain completly
  3. Now take a pot add mince.dal.salt.red button chillies.garlic.ginger. black pepper.long cinemon stick. Black cardamom and 1 onion slice.and water
  4. Boil it when it's become tender then cool at room temperature
  5. After that grind it.
  6. Now add seasoning in this mixture like green chillies green coriander. 1 chopped onion.garam masala powder 1 egg.mix all the spices together.
  7. Make balls of it
  8. Beat 1 egg and beat it
  9. Dip balls in the egg then fry them
  10. Now blend 1 onion and cut 1 onion into slices.
  11. Fry slice onion in the oil.
  12. When it's become golden then add spices salt onion paste. Ginger garlic paste.red chilli.coriander powder.turmeric powder and tomatoes.
  13. Bhunfy well this masala.
  14. Add water in this masala let it cook then add koftay
  15. Keep on simmer reduce the gravy as per requirement
  16. Sprinkle garam masala powder and green coriander on it
  17. Serve with nan or chappati
