- Take 1 lb chicken pieces, boneless & skinless
- Get 2 tbsp Olive oil
- Take 2 tbsp butter
- Prepare 4 clove fresh garlic or 2 TBSP garlic powder
- Take 1 salt & pepper to taste
- Take 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- Prepare 3 tbsp parmesan cheese
- Make ready 3 tbsp grated cheddar cheese
- Prepare 1 cup milk
- Take 1 packages pasta
- Prepare 1 packages Broccoli florets
Steps to make Chicken Broccoli Mess:
- Cook pasta according to package directions. Set aside.
- Cut chicken into 1" pieces. Set aside.
- Put flour, garlic powder (if using), salt, & pepper into gallon size plastic bag.
- Shake & thoroughly coat chicken pieces.
- Over medium high heat, melt butter & olive oil together. Add fresh garlic, if using, for a few seconds. Don't burn garlic! Add chicken pieces.
- Saute until well browned.
- Cook broccoli; I steamed it until al dente. Then, I added that to pan. I made sure to cut large pieces into bite size pieces.
- Add milk, parmesan cheese, & grated cheese. Stir gently so as not to destroy crispness of chicken.
- Cook awhile longer till chicken is done.
- Serve this Mess over cooked pasta. You're Done!
