- Take 500 grams Khoya
- Get 500 grams Sugar
- Take 200 grams (1 cup) Maida
- Take 1 tbsp Elaichi Powder
- Prepare Pinch Kesar
- Get Pinch Baking soda
- Get As required Ghee for deep fry
- Get 250 ml Water for Sugar Syrup
Steps to make Khoya Gulab jamun:
- Add sugar to a medium Wide pot, Pour the water and heat it, add 3-4 kesar threads and 1/2 tablespoon elaichi powder, boil the syrup till it turns sticky.
- Making Dough for gulab Jamuns:-. Add Grated khoya to a mixing bowl, add maida, elyachi powder, pinch of kesar, baking soda and mix everything well.
- Take each balls in between your palms, rub it gently a few times until smooth and roll to a ball. the balls should not have cracks and must be smooth.
- Now Heat ghee in deep kadai or pan.
- Regulate the flame to medium to low and drop balls in it and deep fry until they turns brown.
- Allow the balls to cool a bit for 3 to 4 minutes and add in Sugar syrup.
- Allow them to soak in sugar syrup for 30 to 40 mins.
- Serve with Sugar syrup.
