When this is done DO NOT DRAIN the skillet. We will use the cabbage to absorb all the grease from your sausage. Divide sausages, slaw and mayonnaise between rolls. Shred the cabbage with a mandoline or V-slicer.

  1. Heat pan
  2. Add sausage and break it up.
  3. Add coleslaw mix. And mix it up good. Add salt. Cover on high heat 3 minutes.
  4. Remove lid stirring constantly till sausage is browning. Some liquid will start developing. Keep stirring 7 minutes.
  5. Add vinegar and honey. Stir. Add pepper. Stir turn heat down and cover simmer 20 minutes.
  6. Add tomato paste and mix
  7. When mixed cover let sit 15 minutes.
