  7. Stir for a minute then add washed basmati rice
  8. Mix then add 3.5 cups of hot water and stir then cover to cook for 10 minutes
  9. When almost dry cover with a lid then put hot charcoal on top to simmer for 10 minutes
  10. Pilau is ready serve with a salad and enjoy
