The ingredients needed to make Pakora Curry:
  1. Get PAKORA:
  2. Get gram flour 7 to 8 small mugs
  3. Get onion 2 medium (sliced)
  4. Prepare green chilli 6 (sliced)
  5. Get 1 tbs salt
  6. Get tbs red chilli powder
  7. Get 1 cup fresh coriander
  8. Take dry fenugreek leaves 2 tbs
  9. Make ready anar dana 2tbs (dry pomegranate)
  10. Get cumin seeds 1&1/2 tsp
  11. Make ready 1 tbs coriander seeds
  12. Get water as much required
  13. Get CURRY:
  14. Take Gram flour 1 cup
  15. Take 1/2 kg Yogurt
  16. Get Onion 2 medium size (sliced)
  17. Make ready Tomatoes 2 medium size (chopped)
  18. Make ready Ginger & garlic 2&1/2 tbs
  19. Take 2 tbs Red chilli powder
  20. Get 2 tbs Salt
  21. Prepare Turmeric 1 ts
  22. Take 1 tbsp Garam masala powder
  23. Make ready 1 cup Oil
  24. Get 1 glass Water
  25. Prepare 1 jug of water (extra to make the curry)
  26. Prepare 3 tbsp Ghee
  27. Get TARKA:
  28. Take 7 Dry red chilli
  29. Make ready 3 tbs Ghee
  30. Take 1 tsp Cumin seeds
  31. Prepare Nigella seeds 1/2 ts
  32. Make ready Fenugreek leaves 1 tbs
  33. Get 1 Green chilli
Instructions to make Pakora Curry:
  1. CURRY RECIPE: in a blender add the yogurt, water and blend to mix it well and place it in a bowl.
  2. Now add the gram flour in the blender and fill it with water and blend.
  3. Heat oil add the onions and cook so they get soft, then add the ginger & garlic paste and fry till they get golden on high flame.
  4. Now add the tomatoes, salt, turmeric, red chilli powder mix cook on high flame till the oil comes on the surface and the masala is made.
  5. Then add the gram flour and water mixture, yogurt and water mixture and extra 1 jug of water mix well, wait for a boil and cook on low to medium for 20 to 25 minutes and starts to get thick.
  6. PAKORA RECIPE: in a bowl add the gram flour, all the spices, onions, green chilli add the water slowly and mix it to make medium batter.
  7. Heat the oil and add the batter and make pakora, fry them on medium flame till golden.
  8. Remove them and place on paper towel to drain extra oil.
  9. Then add the pakora in the curry (do not add too many pakoras as they will absorb the curry if so can add extra water and cook a little more).
  10. Add the tadka, garma masala and simmer for 3 to 5 minutes.
  11. TADKA: heat ghee in a pan.
  12. Add the cumin seeds, nigella seeds, fenugreek leaves, green chill, dry red chilli fry well on high flame and add the to kadhi and mix.
