Take out in a bowl.
- For crispy potatoes: heat २ tbsp of oil in a kadahi. Add green chilly and cumin seeds, let it splatter. Add sliced potatoes. Fry for 3 minutes and then add salt and turmeric powder. Fry till potatoes become crisp and brown in colour.
- Now serve lunch in a thali with rice, dal, lauki sabji, crispy potatoes accompanied with curd and mangoes.
The recipe is simple and easy resulting in delicious dal and the big advantage is you really don't have to cook any vegetable, without any side dish or sabji also our loyal lauki/dudhi.
