  1. Wash and soaked dal for 3-4 hrs. Now take a cooker bowl put dal, water, salt and Turmeric Powder. Dice bottle gourd take in cooker bowl add salt, Turmeric Powder. Mix both.put the bowl in cooker and get 4 whistle. Let cooker get cool down.
  2. Mean while make gravy. Take a kadhai/ pan on Medium flame add oil, mustard seeds. Let it crackled. Now add asafoetida and Chopped Onions. Saute it till golden.
  3. Now add green chillies ginger garlic paste, saute it for a min. Add chopped tomatoes. Saute it till it cook and get smashy. Open the cooker dal and bottle gourd is cooked.
  4. Now add all dry masalas and add salt if required and adjust the taste.
  5. Now add boiled bottle gourd and boiled dal. Mix it well. Get a boil. Now smash some dal and bottle gourd while boiling in gravy. So that the gravy will become thick.
