The ingredients needed to make Suji Manda:
  1. Get 2 cup Suji
  2. Make ready 1 cup Sugar
  3. Make ready 2 Cardamom
  4. Get 3-4 Clove
  5. Make ready 1 Coconut grated
  6. Take 1/2 cup Sugar
  7. Prepare as needed Oil for frying
Steps to make Suji Manda:
  1. Take 4 cups of water and bring it to boil
  2. Add crushed cardamom and clove and sugar to the boiling water
  3. Add suji and mix well so that there will be no lumps..
  4. Cool it covered for 2-3 mins..switch off the flame
  5. Take another pan and cook coconut and 1/2 cup sugar till sugar gets caramelised..add crushed cardamom and mix well
  6. Now take the suji dough and mash well with your greased palm till a smooth texture
  7. Take a small portion like a tomato and shape it like a bowl..now stuff some caramelised coconut and seal it so that there will be no opening left
  8. Similarly do all the mandas
  9. Heat sufficient oil in a Kadhai and deep fry the mandas till golden brown from both the sides..
  10. You can serve hot or store it in an airtight container when cooled for up to 2 days
