  1. In a bowl take suji, add oil and mix well. Now add salt, onion, tomato, green chilies, dahi and mix well. Rest for 20 minutes minimum. Add water if required and accordingly.
  2. On a stove place Appe pan and grease with oil. Now pour batter on each bracket of appe pan and cover with lid. Cook for 5/7 minutes.
  3. Flip the appe and cook it for another 3/4 minutes. Appes are ready.
  4. For tomato chutney, in a mixy jar take tomatoes, green chilies and garlic cloves and grind nicely to make a fine paste.
  5. In a deep pan put oil and let it get hot. Put rai and let it splutter. Add hing and pour the paste.
  6. Saute it for 1/2 minutes, add haldi powder, lal mirch powder and salt. Mix well and let it cook till the required consistency. Tomato Chutney is ready.
  7. Now serve hot Appe vth Tomato Chutney.
