- Prepare 1 tbsp Fenugreek seeds
- Make ready 1 tsp Turmeric powder
- Make ready 2 tbsp Curry leaves

- Get 2 tbsp Gingelly oi
- Take 1 tsp Mustard seeds
- Take 1/2 tsp Fenugreek seeds
- Get 2 no Red chilies
- Get 5 Garlic chopped
- Get 1 tbsp Channa dal
- Get 2 tsp Peanuts
- Prepare 1 tsp Urad dal

Instructions to make Manathakkali Vathal Kuzhambu (Wonder Berry Tangy Gravy):
- Soak tamarind in hot water for 20 minutes. squeeze the pulp and keep aside.
- Dry roast all the ingredients under the topic "Vatha Kuzhambu Powder". Cool down and grind to powder. Store this in airtight container and you can use upto 2 months.

- Now add tamarind water and salt. Cover and cook in medium heat for 10 to 15 minutes until oil separates from the gravy. Stir occasionally.
- Now add jaggery and cook for another 2 minutes. Add ghee and adjust the salt.
- Switch off the flame and serve hot with rice, papad..
