- Make ready 3 tablespoon thick yogart
- Get 1 tspn mint powder(or fresh mint leaves if available)
- Take 1 tspn Whole Cummin seeds roasted and crushed

- Prepare Handful corriander leaves chopped finely optional
- Get Lemon squeez (not tried and optional)
Stir together then season to taste with salt and pepper. Refrigerate if not using at once. Best served the day it is made. Delicious served with my Vegetable Pakoras, Papaya with Coriander and Lime or any spicy dish.
Steps to make Yogart, cucumber and mint raita:
- Preps are easier,with one component at atime,wash peel and gr8 cucumber.
- Rince corriander under some clean water or in collander.then chop finely
- Roast cummin very careful not to brown or turn bitter.then crush using hand tools or grinder(can leave semi whole if prefer textures etc)
- Now add all the ingred together,mix and garnish enjoy,(here was used on paratha and kebab wraps alhamdulillah).this is great also on spice dishes,e.g. Asian foods etc,to help coool down!
Wrap the grated cucumber in a tea towel and squeeze out any excess water. Mix together all the ingredients and serve chilled as an accompaniment to any curry or as a dip for poppadoms. Combine cucumber, spring onion, garlic, ginger, mint, lemon juice and yoghurt in a bowl. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Sprinkle over cumin seeds just before serving and serve chilled.
